As every September 23, Saudi Arabia celebrated last Thursday its national holiday, commemorating the transition from the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in 1932.
Ambassador Azzam Abdulkarim Algain hosted a reception at the InterContinental Hotel in Madrid, which was attended by almost all the Arab ambassadors accredited in Spain.
Representing the Spanish Government at the reception was the Director General for the Maghreb, Africa, the Mediterranean and the Middle East, Alberto José Ucelay. Also in attendance, among other personalities, was the former director of the CNI, General Félix Sanz Roldán.
