Casa América presents ‘La Venezuela que viví’, by María Angela Holguín

This evening at 7pm, Casa América presents the book La Venezuela que viví, by María Angela Holguín, the story of ten intense years of a country that changed forever. For a decade, first as ambassador in Caracas and then as foreign minister, María Ángela Holguín lived the day-to-day life of the Bolivarian Revolution of Hugo Chávez and Nicolás Maduro. This book is a portrait of these two characters who led the once richest nation in Latin America to the brink.

 

Participating in the event are the author, María Angela Holguín; Manuel Alcántara, Professor of Political Science at the University of Salamanca, and Germán Ríos, Professor of Economics at IE University. Free admission until full capacity is reached.
