The theatre of the Instituto Francés in Madrid hosts tomorrow and the day after tomorrow at 8 p.m. the new creation by choreographer Jill Crovisier, Sieben, by the JBE (Junior Ballet européen de Pau), in an event held in collaboration with the EBB Company.
Number seven. Hard to ignore and one of the most important numbers in history. From gods and planets to poetry and the deadly sins. In Sieben, Jill Crovisier confronts 7 dancers who want to express their individuality within a group, but also their inability to disconnect from it. Each one has their moment of entry and exit, like the circle of life, governed by a certain repetition. Like the cycle of life governed by this quest, which draws from the dancers’ deep unconscious, Sieben wants to reflect on the place of each man and each woman in a community, and on the self-image that this belonging reflects on them.
