Directed by Mathieu Turi and starring Gaia Weiss, the film The Tube has been released, a good piece of cinematic work, perhaps with a somewhat inexplicable ending.
The film tells the story of how, after getting into a stranger’s car, Lisa wakes up inside a narrow pipe. On her arm she finds a bracelet with a countdown. The young woman doesn’t know why she is there, but she soon realises that she will have to reach her limits of physical and psychological endurance to survive this claustrophobic trap. The film is reminiscent of other similarly themed films such as Saw or Cube, claustrophobic works of difficult execution, but in the case of The Tube it is terrifying and, at the same time, entertaining.
