Next Tuesday, August 31st, the Instituto Cultural Rumano of Madrid will celebrate the Romanian Language Day 2021, a series of activities to which Romanians and all those interested in the Romanian language and culture are invited.
Throughout the day, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., readers can visit the Institute to learn about the library, the lending regulations, the activities it organises and the Romanian language courses, while browsing and selecting books in Romanian which, on this occasion, they can take away free of charge. An exhibition on the life and work of George Enescu, produced by the “George Enescu” National Museum in Bucharest, will be on display. In the afternoon, at 7 p.m., a round table discussion will be organised entitled La lengua rumana en España: entre lo intercultural y lo transnacional, with the participation of professors Eugenia Popeanga, Javier Helgueta Manso and Diego Muñoz Carrobles. Free admission until full capacity is reached. Masks must be worn. The event will be streamed live on the Facebook page of the Instituto Cultural Rumano of Madrid.
