Julián López, Arturo Valls, Ernesto Sevilla, Dafne Fernández and Ana Milán star in the film Descarrilados, which opens tomorrow, Friday, directed by Fernando García-Ruiz and distributed by Sony Pictures España.
With a script by David Marqués, this madcap comedy tells the story of how in the year 2000, Pepo, Roge, Costa and Juan Luis, four twenty-somethings, set off on their dream trip: the Interrail. But at their first stop in Paris, the adventure, and incidentally their friendship, came to an abrupt end. Twenty years later, Juan Luis has passed away and, as his last wish, he has decided to donate his juicy inheritance to his three former friends. But in exchange he asks them to do the Interrail that they could not do with some funny conditions… they have to take with them the ashes of their friend so that he can “live” the experience with them. For the “love” of Juan Luis, these three 40 year old teenagers will have to resolve their differences, visit the same cities and live the same revelry, but in a much more pathetic way. And with their cholesterol sky high.
