The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will allocate 22,591,200 euros to contract a company to provide health care for the Administration’s personnel serving abroad.
The tender announcement was published last Monday in the Official State Gazette (BOE) and the company that is awarded the contract will be responsible for providing health care to civil servants or employees affiliated to the Spanish Social Security or the Mutualidad General Judicial, who provide services abroad outside the EU, the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Andorra, as well as their beneficiaries.
The benefit will also be extended to persons affiliated to the Social Security and their beneficiaries, who are sent on secondment to a country, also outside the EU, the EEA, Switzerland and Andorra.
