‘Rambles de la vida’, by the diplomat Manuel Montobbio

July 14, 2021
in Leisure

Author: Manuel Montobbio.

Barcelona-born Manuel Montobbio, a career diplomat since 1987, presents Rambles de la vida, which, in the face of the attack of 17 August 2017 on Las Ramblas, is a book that represents a question, an invocation to the angels of Las Ramblas, to his wounded soul that seeks healing, so that he can look into his soul and from it all the Ramblas that we are can be drawn out.

An invocation to be, at the same time, a journey, a walk through life via the Ramblas and a meditation on it, which the author shares, inviting everyone to make their own, in the hope of making the sea with other drops, of contributing to those who read it to bring out, to bring out the Ramblas that inhabit us inside, to make together the Ramblas of life, of the Ramblas poetry, of our Ramblas the Ramblas. Reflections in the form of poetry based on the verses written by the author to begin the book of condolences that was open to the public in Andorra for two days. Manuel Montobbio has held various posts in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, and has been posted to San Salvador, Jakarta, Mexico, Guatemala, Andorra and Strasbourg at the Council of Europe.
