Within the framework of the Veranos de la Villa in Madrid, the Centro Cultural Casa de Vacas presents the exhibition Catorce relatos breves, Hecho en Corea (Fourteen short stories, Made in Korea), from 29 July to 29 August.
The exhibition, organised by Casa Asia, is the work of fourteen Korean artists, representative of the new generations and an exponent of the dominant contemporary trends. It shows the state of a country’s culture through the stories of its artists, filmmakers, writers and, in general, of all those professionals in the field of visual arts, as they provide essential information for its knowledge. In no case is a single story presented, but rather what is exhibited has a multiplying effect, as can be seen in the journeys that each work proposes. Thus, the works of this group of artists are presented in five different formats that connect with each other through their interpretation of painting, video, photography, installation and sculpture. Among the artists exhibiting are Do Ho Suh, Im Heung-Song, Won Ju Lim, Timothy Hyusoo Lee and Lim Soosik.
