The Veranos de la Villa in Madrid presents the seductive and silver voice of world jazz Youn Sun Nah on Tuesday 3 August at 10 p.m. in the Patio Central del Centro Cultural Conde Duque, where Korea is the guest country with a magical concert in which she will be accompanied by the legendary jazz guitarist Ulf Wakenius, also known for being Oscar Peterson’s last guitarist.
Known for her fabulous vocal technique, Korea’s Youn Sun Nah is among the leading lights of the contemporary vocal jazz scene. This enveloping and charismatic Korean artist collaborated last year on the occasion of International Dance Day with her interpretation of Isaac Albéniz’s “Asturias”.
