The new Sate Secretary for Foreign and Global Affairs, Ángeles Moreno, has chosen Ángel Carrascal as head of her Cabinet, sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told The Diplomat.
Ángel Carrascal has been assigned for the last three years to the Directorate General of Public Diplomacy, where he was currently the deputy director general responsible for social networks.
A diplomat since 2009, he has been posted to Japan, Ireland and Senegal and was also Deputy Assistant Director General for Foreign Policy in the Directorate General for Foreign Policy and Multilateral, Global and Security Affairs.
