The president of the PP, Pablo Casado, yesterday described as “embarrassing” the tour of the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, by the United States to have “an agenda that does not even reach that of Secretary of State”, reports Europa Press.

“Although tourism in Spain is going very badly, Pedro Sánchez has been sightseeing this week in the U.S.,” the president of the PP said ironically during the closing ceremony of the 16th Autonomous Congress of the PP of the Balearic Islands. The PP leader said that “if Sánchez is with Castro and Maduro, he should not expect Biden to spend more than 29 seconds in a corridor“.

He also reproached the President of the Government for “defending Castilian in California or Dakota” and not doing so in Mallorca, Tarragona or Vizcaya. Casado also ironised Sánchez’s comparison with Superman: “He makes the summit in 20 seconds, spends the whole day flying and, when he speaks, it seems that he is from another planet”.

He also criticised Sánchez for “describing the same investors in Spain that he has met during his tour as vulture funds”. And he expressed his discontent that Sánchez was not accompanied by Spanish businessmen during his visit.
