The Diplomat

Throughout this week, the Embassy of Haiti opens a Book of Condolences at its headquarters at Paseo de la Castellana, 15 . 3ºB in Madrid, from 11 a.m. to 2.30 p.m., in honour of its President Jovenel Moïse, who was terribly assassinated on the night of 7 July at his personal residence.

Likewise, the Caribbean diplomatic legation informs that the Haitian government has decreed national mourning from the 8th of July until the 22nd of this month, during which the Haitian flag will fly at half-mast throughout the national territory, as well as in the diplomatic and consular representations of Haiti.

Likewise, the Haitian Embassy wishes to express its great sorrow for the events that have occurred, as well as its gratitude for all the messages and acts of support it has received from the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Spain, as well as from personalities of the political, social and cultural world of Spain.
