Summer cinema at the Institut Français with ‘Hail who may (life)’

As part of the Festival de Cannes cycle, tonight at 22:00, the Instituto Francés is screening the film Hail who may (life), directed in 1980 by Jean-Luc Godard, with Isabelle Huppert, Jacques Dutronc and Nathalie Baye in the leading roles. Screening in the original version with Spanish subtitles.

 

A reflection on sexual relationships through three characters. Denise Rimbaud is an editor unhappy with her job who one day decides to leave her lover, Paul Godard, and go to live in the countryside. Paul does not want to leave the city, but he cannot live without Denise. The third character is Isabelle, a prostitute struggling to survive in the city. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
