The Italian Embassy and the Instituto Italiano de Cultura in Madrid will host on Monday 28 June at 6 p.m. a meeting dedicated to exploring the work and poetics of the extraordinary protagonist of Italian contemporary art Alfredo Pirri, which will be introduced by the Italian Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia and moderated by the Director of the IIC, Marialuisa Pappalardo.
Along with the artist Alfredo Pirri, the event will be attended by art critic Laura Cherubini, Miguel Ángel Chaves (President of AICA Spain – Spanish Association of Art Critics), Eduardo Prieto (historian and architecture critic) and Fernando Moral Andrés, architect, director of the Department of Architecture at the University of Nebrija, researcher at La Sapienza University in Rome and author of the book Alfredo Pirri. Espacio privado, arte público, published last January by Ediciones Asimétricas. The event will be held in Italian with simultaneous translation.
