As part of the cycle of unreleased films in Madrid, the Instituto Francés of the capital will screen tomorrow, Friday, the film Just Kids, directed in 2019 by Christophe Blanc, and starring Kacey Mottet Klein and Andrea Maggiulli. Screening in original version with Spanish subtitles.

Jack, 19, Lisa, 17, and Mathis, 10, are suddenly orphaned. Each reacts in his own way to the family catastrophe. Lisa distances herself; Jack takes over the care of Mathis. A new life begins for all of them. The director of the film studied photography and cinema at the University of Provence before moving to Paris in 1987, where he made his first short films. His film Faute de soleil was presented in the Directors’ Fortnight at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival. Tickets can be purchased at this link.
