The museum is no longer understood as a static entity, preserving and conserving cultural content. It is not only an exhibition storehouse of information, but has developed as a centre of socio-cultural and economic reactivation. It is an entity that stimulates knowledge and creates opportunities and innovations. The Museum is a concept that goes beyond its physical limits, through the new technologies that it uses as a tool for creating emotions that involves the visitor and makes him/her a participant in his/her own culture (or not). The way museums operate is moving towards an exhibition methodology that is active/interactive with the public.
