Tomorrow, Tuesday at 12 noon, Fundación Alternativas will present its report Africa 2021: Joint challenges for Africa and Europe under the pandemic. It will be available on Youtube and Zoom.
Africa and Europe are closely linked, with a geographical proximity that translates into commercial, migratory and geopolitical derivatives that will mark the future of both continents. Diego López Garrido, Executive Vice-President of the Alternativas Foundation, and Cristina Gallach, Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs and for Latin America and the Caribbean, MAEUEC, will welcome the audience. Elsa Aimé González, coordinator of the Sub-Saharan Africa Panel, Fundación Alternativas, and Itxaso Domínguez de Olazábal, coordinator of the Middle East and North Africa Panel, Fundación Alternativas, will present the contents of the report. Three round tables will be discussed Africa-Europe relations in the context of the pandemic, Spain’s migration policies and the states of North Africa, and Africa and the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. All the information is available on the Foundation’s website.
