The Embassy of the Dominican Republic offered a cocktail reception to the Dominican delegation that came to Madrid on the occasion of the 41st edition of the International Tourism Trade Fair (FITUR).
The Dominican ambassador, Juan Bolívar Díaz, and his wife, Ada Wiscovitch de Díaz, received at their residence the official delegation of the Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic, headed by Minister David Collado; the Minister of Industry, Commerce and Mipymes, Víctor Bisonó; the president of the Association of Hotels and Tourism of the Dominican Republic, Rafael Blanco Tejera; as well as senior executives of Banco de Reservas and Banco Popular, businessmen, personalities and representatives of the Dominican media.
The ambassador addressed the audience and expressed his satisfaction for the presence of the Dominican delegation to participate in FITUR, while congratulating the high commitment of all in the revival of tourism in the Dominican Republic, which with its presence at this important global event, after the break due to Covid-19, reaffirms the interest to put the maximum effort in an industry that represents the greatest dynamism of the Dominican economy.
The delegation, since its arrival in Spain, began to meet a busy agenda in this conclave, concluding agreements and agreements with executives of large investment groups that are interested in investing in the country.
