The Spanish government yesterday expressed its condolences to Iraq for the deaths of more than 80 people in the fire that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning at the Al Jatib hospital in Baghdad, where there were also a hundred injured.
A communiqué from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, EU and Cooperation expresses the government’s “deep consternation”, which, in addition to wishing the victims a speedy recovery, sends “a message of solidarity and support to the government and the friendly people of Iraq”.
