The Theatre of the Instituto Francés in Madrid presents this evening at 8 p.m. a concert by the pianist Hilario Segovia Badia (in the photo) and the violinist Raul Arias, in commemoration of the centenary of the death of Saint-Saëns, a key composer in the French tradition.

The recital is about him and his Spanish friend, the violinist composer Pablo de Sarasate. The concert programme includes Introduction and Rondo capriccioso, Habanera and Capricho andaluz, by C. Saint-Saëns, and Fantasia on Faust by Gounod and Capricho Vasco, by Sarasate. Booking is required at this link.
