This afternoon at 6 p.m., Casa América is offering a debate on its YouTube channel entitled The United States and Europe, as part of the series The United States after Trump: a balance and predictions for the new era.
The aim of the debate is to see whether it is possible to heal the wounds caused by the previous presidency in the transatlantic relationship. What are Biden’s plans for NATO and security policy in general and, in general, for the EU after Brexit? Will there be a return to the reconstitution of a Western democratic bloc and, if so, what will be its main features? Cristina Crespo, General Coordinator and Director of External Relations at the Franklin Institute of the University of Alcalá, and Ignacio Molina, Senior Researcher at the Elcano Royal Institute and Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations at the Autonomous University of Madrid, will take part in the event. Presented and moderated by: Fernando Vallespín, Professor of Political Science at the Autonomous University of Madrid.
