Iberdrola, Naturgy and Endesa are among the 20 most valuable brands in the global energy sector, in a ranking led once again this year by China’s State Grid and compiled by the consultancy Brand Finance.
Specifically, the group chaired by Ignacio Sánchez Galán is the Spanish energy brand with the highest growth in brand value, with an increase of 1.4% – with a value of 4,383 million euros – and remains the sixth most valuable Spanish energy company in the world, reports Europa Press.
For its part, Naturgy maintains its brand value and climbs four places in the ranking to 18th, entering the world’s top 20. Thus, it is one of the ten brands that climb the most places in the 2021 ranking. Meanwhile, Endesa’s brand value fell (-18.3%), placing it behind Naturgy in 19th place in the ranking.
Spanish brands lose 390 million euros compared to 2020. Spain is the fifth country that contributes the most value to the ranking (5%), 40% more than last year.
