On the 13th of April and online, Casa África is organising what will be its 3rd Meeting of Think Tanks to continue to value and take advantage of the analytical capacity of these think tanks, whose influence on the discussion and formulation of policies is growing.
As is the case in other regions of the world, the reports generated by these centres should also play an important role in empowering the African agenda on the African continent. Their work on the main issues allows the needs, dynamics and processes of African civil society to be made known, in contrast to the African agenda defined by the great powers with interests in the continent, or by the rest of the international think tanks. The meeting will take place around three round tables (Governance, democracy and security; Green industrialisation, employment and African economic integration; and New narratives and approaches to post-COVID foreign policy), and a final conference on The moral obligation to build an Africa-EU partnership among equals. The entire event can be followed through Casa África’s social networks.
