The German Embassy in Spain and the Centro Sefarad-Israel are joining forces next Friday 9th at 6 p.m. to commemorate the 1,700 years of Jewish presence in the German-speaking country with the concert Mendelssohn in the history of music.
The concert can be followed online and will be given by the pianist Darío Meta. During the recital, not only the music of the composer with Jewish roots, Felix Mendelssohn, but also the influences that his works had on other great names in music, will be explored. In addition, during the concert, Darío Meta will offer didactic explanations on the importance of Felix Mendelssohn in the history of music.
