The Sala Fernando Arrabal at Naves del Español in Matadero is hosting the return of Prostitución, a play directed by Andrés Lima, until 11 April.
The play is the result of more than a year of research work on a subject that crosses society in human, political, social and economic terms: prostitution. After the success of last season at the Teatro Español and an extensive national tour of almost 20 cities, this theatrical, musical and documentary show can be seen again, starring Carmen Machi, Nathalie Poza and Carolina Yuste. The theme: prostitution. The problem: the trafficking, smuggling and sexual exploitation of women and girls (and all that derives from it: illegal immigration, drugs, male violence, etc.). The basis of the problem: the commodification of the human being.
