The Instituto Italiano de Cultura in Madrid, in collaboration with the Compagnia della Luna is hosting this evening at 19 the talk-concert La música es peligrosa, with the pianist Nicola Piovani (in the photo), accompanied by Marina Cesari (sax) and Marco Loddo (double bass), a kind of autobiographical tale, commissioned for its premiere by the Cannes Festival in 2003.
Nicola Piovani shares with the audience experiences, memories and emotions of more than forty years of career. On the trail of memories and anecdotes, the maestro Piovani retraces the great encounters that have marked his career, from Federico Fellini, remembered with affection for his little quirks and admiration as a director, to Vincenzo Cerami and Benigni, with episodes that are both amusing and moving at the same time. Free admission with confirmed invitation only. Attendance must be confirmed by writing to prensa.iicmadrid@esteri.it indicating name, surname and telephone number of all persons for whom a reservation is requested by 2 p.m. on 18 March. The concert will be streamed on the Institute’s YouTube channel.
