The Minister of Health, Carolina Darias, offered yesterday to the European Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Stella Kyriakides, the disposition of Spain to “collaborate in the construction of a European Union for Health”.

During a telematic meeting, the minister conveyed to the Commissioner “the Spanish Government’s appreciation for the steps forward taken by the European authorities in this sense” and underlined “the constructive debate that has already begun around this process”, according to a press release from the Ministry of Health.

Likewise, Darias warned of the need to “clearly establish the competences of all the agencies and the different actors that would be involved in crisis management” and to continue implementing the communication channels.
