Casa Mediterráneo begins its cultural week this afternoon with the conference Culture and patronage in Spanish Naples, as part of the series Histories of the Mediterranean, given by Isabel Enciso, professor of Modern History at the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC).
Tomorrow Tuesday, as part of the Economy and the Mediterranean series, a round table discussion will be held on Spanish-Tunisian economic relations, with Manuel Mora, Deputy Assistant Director General for Mediterranean Countries at the Secretary of State for Trade, and Vicens Serrano, Purchasing Director of the Oils Division of the Borges Group, organised in collaboration with the Exporters and Investors Club. It will continue on Wednesday 17 with a virtual discussion on the Lebanese film Taste of cement, as part of the Cineclub Mediterráneo cycle. Viewing guide here. And finally, on Thursday 18, a meeting will be held with Clara Cabrera (in the photo), ambassador on Special Mission for Gender Equality in Foreign Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, as part of the Women and the Mediterranean cycle, in which the policies and programmes carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the area of equality will be discussed, as well as the collaborations undertaken with other countries in this area, especially those of the Mediterranean basin. The meeting will analyse and debate the current situation of Mediterranean women in the 21st century, the main challenges they face and the opportunities they have in order to achieve their goals.
