The Instituto Francés of Madrid presents this evening at 6pm the webinar A look at women’s entrepreneurship in the Covid period.
The Covid-19 pandemic disproportionately affects women. Although this topic remains relatively under-researched, it is known that this phenomenon is flagrantly observed and that it takes a heavy toll on women entrepreneurs. Pre-pandemic systemic inequalities are exacerbated by recent containment and restriction measures. It seems difficult to regain our full economic potential if support for women is not central to planning. The Mampreneur 2021 award will be presented. This competition was launched on the occasion of the Festival de la Francophonie 2021 by the association La France Ô Si!, the Spanish Entrepreneurs Club, the Madrid Donne de L Madrid Vie Pro network and TV5 Monde. The debate will be introduced by Helena Mina (in the photo), Ambassador of Cyprus in Spain, with guests Sara Bieger, President of the Franco-Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Daphnée K. Floréal (Haiti), Artistic Director of Bijou Lakay. Director of exploitation for the Agence nationale haïtienne de promotion de l’investissement (CFI); Valérie Pinçon (France), co-founder of the Club des entrepreneuses d’Espagne; Laurence Fontinoy (Belgium), co-founder of Woom Fertility; Ylhem Amara (Tunisia), creator and founder of Decor Baraka; Sarah Berseth (Switzerland) founder of the Madrid Donne des L network, and Nathalie Bottinelli (France) co-animator of the Madrid Accueil Pro group.
