As part of the series More Europe in the Mediterranean, this morning at 12 noon, Casa Mediterráneo presents the conference Federal Spain in the European Federation, with the former president of the European Parliament and president of the Union of Europeanists and Federalists, Enrique Barón.
Likewise, the series Gastronomy and the Mediterranean presents tomorrow, Wednesday at 19:00, a meeting with the Michelin star chef Carme Ruscalleda (in the photo), in which they will discuss the influence of the Mediterranean on haute cuisine. The following day, Thursday, at 11 a.m., there will be a guided visit to the headquarters of Casa Mediterráneo, with prior registration required by e-mailing comunicacion@casa-mediterraneo.es. The visit to the headquarters, the old Benalúa train station, will take you on a journey back in time to the end of the 19th century. During the visit, visitors will learn about the importance of the railway for the city of Alicante both at an economic and urbanistic level. Finally, within the cycle Objetivo mediterráneo, on Friday 12th March at 12 p.m., the photographic exhibition Tabarkinas, by the visual artist Carma Casulá, will be inaugurated and the book edited for this occasion will be presented.
