The Diplomat
The Council of Ministers yesterday renewed the entry restrictions to Spain for flights from the United Kingdom, Brazil and South Africa, which will be in force until 18:00 hours on March 16.
The Executive intends to limit the mobility of travelers from these three countries in order to prevent the appearance of the British and Brazilian strain and to contain, as far as possible, the contagions.
Thus, as indicated by the Government in a note, direct flights and passenger ships between the United Kingdom and Spanish airports and ports will continue to be limited, as established in the measures adopted on December 22 for the United Kingdom and on February 2 for Brazil and South Africa.
Flights from any airport located in those countries to any airport located in Spain, with or without intermediate stops, may only be carried out if they involve aircraft carrying exclusively Spanish or Andorran nationals, or residents of Spain or Andorra.
