In collaboration with Astiberri and through Zoom, the Instituto Francés of Madrid invites you to meet the young author, Chloé Wary, author of Season of Roses, a comic that won the Audience Award at the Angoulême Comic Festival 2020. In French and Spanish with simultaneous translation.
Chloé Wary, who draws inspiration from her adolescence in the suburbs of Paris, as well as her experience as a player at her hometown club to tell the story of the Roses’ fight, will be accompanied by Mamen Hidalgo, sports journalist, author of Sharing the Glory and one of the screenwriters of A Real Dream, HBO documentary on women’s football, who will exchange ideas in a conversation moderated by Galder Reguera, writer (Hijos del fútbol, La vida en fuera de juego, Libro de familia) and head of Activities at Fundación Athletic Club.
