On the occasion of the presentation of the play Nápoles Millonaria!, one of Eduardo De Filippo’s best creations, which will be performed on the stage of the Teatro Español in Madrid from tomorrow until 28 March, the Instituto Italiano de Cultura of Madrid is collaborating with the Teatro Español/Naves del Matadero by organising a virtual meeting this morning at 12.30 p.m. with scholars and experts on the theatre of the Neapolitan master, in which they will reflect on the dissemination and projection of his work beyond Italy’s borders.

Participating in the meeting will be professor Anna Barsotti, actress Iaia Forte and Antonio Simón, director of Naples Millionaire! at the Teatro Español. Marialuisa Pappalardo, director of the IIC Madrid, will moderate the event. The event can be attended via the Zoom platform at this link. Simultaneous translation will be provided. The event will be streamed on IIC Madrid’s Facebook page.
