The singer-songwriter Abel Chéret presents a concert tomorrow Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Instituto Francés in Madrid. Free admission.
His EP released in 2019 and entitled Amour Ultra Chelou was one of the French critics’ favourites. Through this album, Abel evokes love in all its facets. Melancholic texts intertwined with electronic productions in a pop universe. Chéret also reveals a singular and poetic vision of love tinged with melancholy, carnal pleasures, despair and black humour. Adorned with electronic arrangements, his songs bring out emotions that leave no one indifferent. After opening for Vanessa Paradis and Séverin, Abel Chéret is currently on tour throughout France and will give a concert on 12 April at the Café de la Danse in Paris. The concert can be accessed at this link.
