In the framework of COP26 and Italy’s collaboration with the United Kingdom, which will host the Climate Summit in Glasgow in November 2021, Italy is launching a call for participation in the Youth4Climate: Driving Ambition event, from 28-30 September, and the Pre-COP26 preparatory conference, from 30 September to 2 October.
The Youth4Climate: Driving Ambition event is designed to give a voice to young people, who for years have been encouraging governments to act decisively on the challenge of climate change. The call for entries for the competition was launched on 1 February and will remain open until 1 March inclusive. The link to register is here. Regarding the selection process, each young person will be able to apply independently to participate in the event. Young people are defined as anyone between the ages of 15 and 29. In addition to organising the event, Italy will contribute to cover the costs of participation of the selected persons (travel and accommodation). For more information, please click here.
