The PP has proposed in the Congress of Deputies the creation of a new system of visas to facilitate the implementation of ‘startups’, streamlining its creation and allowing to attract foreign investment in these projects and the hiring of workers in this type of innovation companies.

In a non-legislative proposal registered in the Lower House, and collected by Europa Press, the ‘popular’ propose the creation of a new visa model like the French Tech Visa, a simplified permit with streamlined procedures for investors, entrepreneurs and workers who want to settle in Spain and obtain residency.

Specifically, this specific visa offers a four-year renewable permit, automatically extended to spouses and dependent minors, and does not require proof of experience or academic qualifications.

Among other measures, they propose the promotion of a free public registry of ‘startups’ to accredit their status and facilitate their access to aid, financing or procedures before any administration, and make it possible to start up a ‘startup’ online in just 48 hours.
