On the occasion of the annual celebration of the creativity and achievements of Irish women on St. Brigid’s Day 2021, the Embassy of Ireland, together with the Spanish Association of Irish Studies (AEDEI), is hosting an online conversation (in English) on the theme of Irish women in literature with author Emilie Pine on Monday 1 February at 10.30am.

In conversation with Dr. Pilar Villar-Argáiz, President of AEDEI, Emilie Pine will discuss her thoughts on the representation and role of Irish women in literature. Pine’s book, Notes to Self, won the 2018 book of the year award at the An Post Irish Book Awards and in 2020 was translated into Spanish under the title Todo lo que no puedo decir. Places are limited, so please use the Eventbrite link to register to attend.
