On the 28th of January at 6pm, Casa de América celebrates in its Gabriela Mistral amphitheatre and in streaming the launch of the Latin American Creators Network, whose objective is to create a forum for the exchange of emerging creators of Latin American origin living in Spain.
This project follows on from the publication of the guide 50 Latin American creators in Madrid and has been carried out in coordination with the Community and City Council of Madrid. The event will feature speeches by Rebeca Guinea, Director of Programming at Casa de América; Marta Rivera de la Cruz, Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Community of Madrid; Guzmán Palacios Fernández, Director of Cultural and Scientific Relations of the AECID. Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain, and a representative of the Madrid City Council. The event will be presented by Javier Fernaud, Casa de América’s Communications Coordinator. Some of the creators who make up the Network will also attend, and there will be a dance performance by Lucía Marote. It will also be possible to attend via streaming through the YouTube and Twitter channels of the cultural centre.
