Casa Árabe and PHotoEspaña jointly present NUR (Light)

NUR (Light) is the name of the open call that Casa Árabe and PHotoEspaña are jointly presenting for the selection of an exhibition proposal of a photographic nature to be presented at Casa Árabe’s headquarters as part of the PHotoESPAÑA International Photography Festival, as part of its official programme, in its 24th edition to be held in 2021.

The aim of this open call is to give visibility and dissemination to a project that offers a look at one or several aspects of Arab societies, from a contemporary curatorial perspective. The aim of this call is to reward the effort of innovation, while at the same time transmitting current contents that have to do with the realities of the contemporary Arab world. These contents are deliberately open and free in their subject matter, so that a wide range of initiatives can be accommodated, without conditioning the contents, approaches or working techniques, with the possibility of submitting projects dedicated to a single artist or collective projects. The deadline for submitting projects is 28 February 2021. For more information and terms and conditions, please visit Casa Árabe’s website.
