The Cultural and Scientific Department of the Spanish Embassy in the Kingdom of Belgium, and the Spanish Official Chamber of Commerce in Belgium and Luxembourg, with the collaboration of the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) and the Spanish Office of Science and Technology (SOST), are organising a virtual round table tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. on Spanish Scientific Diplomacy – Towards a new urban mobility: new alternatives to the car, digital technologies and innovations in transport.
This is a special edition of the Embassy’s Lunchtime and the third event in the framework of the Spain Means Innovation programme, an initiative of the Chamber to promote the commercial and business interests of Spanish companies at the local level in Belgium and Luxembourg. This webinar will examine innovation and business opportunities between Spain and Belgium in the field of electric mobility, based on the collaboration developed by the Spanish technology centre Ikerlan and the Belgian engineering company Avesta Battery & Energy Engineering (ABEE), as an example of good collaboration practices in the e-mobility sector between the two countries. During the course of the event, the Spanish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Belgium, Beatriz Larrotcha Palma, and Mikaël Van Eeckhoudt, Councillor in the Cabinet of the Minister for Mobility, Public Works and Road Safety of the Brussels Region, Elke Van den Brandt, will also speak about the Good Move regional programme and its technological implications.
