Frédéric Rivière’s electronic music at Instituto Francés

The Instituto Francés in Madrid presents next Thursday at 9pm, through its Facebook Live page, Anoraak, the electronic music project of Frédéric Rivière, multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and DJ, former drummer of the band Pony Run Run and member of the Nantes collective Valerie.

Coming from the rock scene, Frédéric Rivière later moved into electronic music. Assimilated to the retro scene inspired by the 80s, highlighted by the soundtrack of the film Drive, his music is described as contemporary with a retro nuance, a mix of electronic sounds and romanticism. The Anoraak project has collaborated with many artists such as the Swedish group Sally Shapiro, the American singer Slow Shiver, the French singer Sarah Maison, as well as numerous remixes for Neon Indian, Mika, Sexy Sushi, Julian Perretta, La Grande Sophie and many others.
