Temporarily Disconnected, talks about the history of a house and its inhabitants when there is no Internet. In Beshkara [Maid], the Filipino caretaker of an elderly, dependent and irascible Emirati woman needs to return home when she discovers that her daughter is terminally ill. In this short film we will find out whether or not the lady refuses to let her travel. Finally, in Zinzana (pictured), trapped in a prison cell (“Zinzana”) in a remote police station, a man named Talal tortures himself with the vision of his beloved ex-wife and son, while waiting to find out what his fate will be. When Daban, an officer from a neighbouring town, appears, Talal witnesses how the officer’s friendly visit suddenly turns into a bloodbath. Being behind bars will now be the least of his problems as he is forced to participate in a crazy game to save his family’s life.
