This evening at 7.30pm, the Teatro Fernando de Rojas in Madrid presents the pianist Alba Ventura, who will perform pieces by Beethoven.
Alba Ventura is a Catalan instrumentalist of refined expression who will perform Ligeti‘s Studies No. 6 and No. 10 and a score by the composer Ricardo Llorca. Beethoven will be present with three Sonatas: No. 14, the famous and premonitory Moonlight, whose first movement has more than once been considered an advertisement for Impressionism; No. 17, almost as famous, known as Tempest, which marks the beginning of a new stage, and No. 23, Appassionata, which its creator linked to Shakespeare’s tragedy.
