After the success of The Opera Locos, Yllana returns to the Teatros del Canal for the second time this summer and, again, for musical humor, with Maestrissimo (Pagagnini 2).
Until next Sunday, September 6th, the company will perform in the Sala Roja this story allegro e molto vivace, which is halfway between a chamber concert, a satirical comedy and a period portrait. In the play, the elitism of classical music is ironically portrayed. It tells the adventures and misadventures of a string quartet that lives at an indeterminate moment between the 17th and 18th centuries, at the turning point between the Baroque and Neoclassicism. His aim is to make his way in the musical scene with a filler performer, a second man without a surname but with an enormous talent, who wants to progress in the ranks and reach the title of master, and to do so, he enters the courtly life, in territories that are unknown to him.
