The Taiwan Fellowship program, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of China (Taiwan) and through which Spanish researchers, experts or university professors can carry out research projects and studies in universities or academic institutions in Taiwan, extends the deadline for application until July 15, 2020.
Applicants will have as a main requirement to devote their research to the fields of social sciences or humanities in topics related to Taiwan, relations across the Taiwan Strait, mainland China, the Asia-Pacific region or studies of sinology in general, giving special priority to issues such as the mechanism of regional economic participation, the New Policy Towards the South undertaken by Taiwan, regional security of the Indo-Pacific region, the fight against misinformation and gender equality studies. The selected participants must carry out their research project in 2021, for a minimum of three months and a maximum of twelve months.
