Next Monday 27 July at 7.30pm, pianist Noelia Rodiles (photo©Irene Ruano) will give a concert at the Teatro Fernando de Rojas which was originally postponed by COVID-19. Tickets purchased for the initially scheduled date of the concert (May 18) are valid for the new date of July 27, 2020.
The refined pianist will offer a programme consisting of three beautiful sonatas by Beethoven: No. 21, Waldstein, also known as The Dawn, which is considered a turning point in Beethoven’s work, in parallel with the Heroic Symphony; No. 28, very German in its conception, which begins the third period of the composer from Bonn; and No. 31, intimate and luminous, and crowned by a cheerful Crescendo. The repertoire is completed by a piece by Carles Guinovart, a profound expert on the piano, and Studies No. 2 and No. 8 by Ligeti, an author that Noelia Rodiles has brought to the record with notable success.
