BMW Painting Prize extends deadline until the end of the month

July 21, 2020
in Culture & Art, Leisure

The deadline for registration for the 35th Edition of the BMW Painting Prize, which will be held exclusively on the competition’s website, is Wednesday 29 July 2019 at 12 noon.

Participants, who must be Spanish or foreign painters resident in Spain, may submit up to five works per author, all through the online form. Only those works that have been pre-selected for a second phase will be requested to be physically sent. Consult the rules of the competition at this link. Through the BMW Painting Prize, the BMW Group wishes to convey its commitment to promoting art as a means of expression and communication, as well as its commitment to young talent. This initiative was born in 1986 and since then has been consolidated over the years as one of the most prestigious cultural projects in the country, thanks to the structure and open dynamics of participation, transparency in its development and the impartiality of the jury. For its 35th edition, the BMW Painting Prize will award a total of 43 thousand euros in prizes.
