The exhibition Open links. Four Spanish-Moroccan artists deals with the symbolic recognition of one of the most important centres of cultural production in the narrative of cultural relations between Morocco and Spain: the National Institute of Fine Arts of Tetouan. The history of this centre of artistic education, founded in 1945 and whose first director was the painter Mariano Bertuchi from Granada, is an essential part of the history of modern and contemporary art in Morocco, which deserves a frank and profound look that allows us to apprehend all its richness and specificity.
