The ambassador of Qatar, Mohammed Al Kuwari, in collaboration with the magazine Diplomática, with its director Sonia Segura at the head, organized last Monday September 23 the reception Rentrée, which brought together personalities from different fields from businessmen to diplomats through professionals from different sectors.
The first to speak was the ambassador from Qatar: “Qatar and Spain are friendly countries, close to each other and share perspectives on numerous cultural aspects, gastronomy, art and sport. These are some of the elements that connect us and that contribute to increase the ties between Spain and Qatar”.
For her part, Sonia Segura commented that this reception is a special event where to unite bonds of friendship, bonds of collaboration and to find synergies and companions of trips for many things. Qatar is one of the most open countries in the Middle East, which is making a major commitment to culture with the Museum of Culture in Doha, also in sport with an incredible effort with the upcoming World Cup in 2022 and that bets on education in all universities that are doing in Doha, betting on women, art and is a very interesting destination to fly with Qatar Airways and know Doha and the people of Qatar.
The Secretary General of the World Tourism Organization, Zurab Pololikashvili, took the floor and announced the Online Academy project “in collaboration with the Enterprise Institute and Qatar Airways, which is the first online university dedicated to tourism, of course”.
The Tourism Online Academy will provide specialized training programs for managers of international tourism companies in the areas of management, hotel and destination management. The platform has the support of Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) and plans to incorporate soon Gino Invest and new educational institutions of international reference to expand the scope of the initiative.
